In Volgograd Oblast, 11 UAVs were intercepted, with debris impacting railway infrastructure. The Ministry of Defense reported that throughout the night, 32 drones were neutralized across Russian territories, with 11 of these occurring over Volgograd Oblast. Debris from one of the UAVs landed on railway infrastructure, requiring sapper teams to clear the area. Train traffic on the Kotelnikovo-Kanalnaya section of the Privolzhskaya railway was temporarily suspended. No casualties were reported.

As of now, train services have resumed, though two long-distance trains and one commuter train are experiencing delays, according to Ekaterina Simokhina, editor of `KP-Volgograd`:

The Kirov-Adler and Adler-Kirov routes, along with our local commuter train, are delayed. The area around the railway station was cordoned off for sappers to collect debris and secure the territory. Last week, we experienced much more significant damage at Zhutovo station nearby, where it took an entire day to clear the aftermath, and the overhead contact system for trains was disrupted. Here, sappers are clearing debris, which is why the area was cordoned off. I believe they will manage it more quickly this time. Only three trains were delayed this morning.

Regarding Tinguta in Svetloyarsky district?

I don`t think there were any delays there at all; Russian Railways only reported delays at this station, which are actually quite close to each other.

In Penza Oblast, a drone attack caused a fire at an industrial facility, as reported by Governor Oleg Melnichenko. Firefighters are currently working to extinguish the blaze. No injuries have been reported. A state of air danger was declared in the city, with sirens activated. Public transportation in the region was halted due to the air raid alert, and personnel and visitors were evacuated from the Penza bus station. Svetlana Filippova, a journalist for `Rossiyskaya Gazeta` in Penza, commented on the morning situation in the region:

This morning, many residents of our city were woken up by loud explosions. It was later confirmed that one of our industrial enterprises had been hit. According to official reports, there were no casualties or major destruction, but a fire did break out. After this, other sounds were heard around the city, and for two hours, the «Air Raid Alert» signal, meaning sirens, sounded. Despite this, people calmly went to work; unfortunately, these are our current realities, and probably only the older generation stayed home. People still went to work, and children went to kindergartens. Officially, people were advised to leave the streets and seek shelter, and public transport was even temporarily suspended. Now, official information has come through that the air danger alert has been lifted, and all restrictions have been removed, except for mobile internet, which is unfortunately still an issue. There are still several street vendors near shops who can`t do anything because people have gotten used to cashless payments, so transactions aren`t going through. It`s all based on trust now. People are collecting notes with phone numbers to transfer money later.

In Rostov Oblast`s Chertkovsky district, falling debris caused a forest plantation near the M-4 Don highway to ignite, as reported by Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar. He stated that the fire was swiftly extinguished, and no one was harmed.

On Thursday morning, drone attacks on Russian regions continued, with reports of two people injured in Belgorod Oblast. According to regional head Vyacheslav Gladkov, two men were injured in Oktyabrsky village during a drone attack on a commercial property. They received necessary medical assistance, and one of them will continue outpatient treatment.
