A light-class Angara-1.2 rocket, launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, has successfully deployed military satellites into their intended orbits, as confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry`s statement specified: «At the designated time, the spacecraft were deployed into their target orbits and subsequently brought under the control of the ground facilities operated by the Space Forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces.»

It was further noted that stable telemetry communication has been established and is being maintained with the spacecraft, and all their onboard systems are functioning nominally.

The launch of the rocket, carrying spacecraft for the Russian Ministry of Defense, took place on August 21st at 12:32 Moscow time from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region. Both the launch and the deployment of the satellites into their planned orbits proceeded without incident. Following the launch, the rocket was tracked by the ground-based automated control complex of the German Titov Main Space Test Centre.
