For many years, due to US sanctions against Moscow, members of the Duma were not officially received by Congress members. However, a recent and contentious visit saw five Russian parliamentarians in Washington not only break that long-standing freeze but also receive a rather unusual souvenir: socks adorned with the likeness of former US President Donald Trump.
