After a decade of development, the European Union is finally rolling out its new electronic control system for the registration of non-EU citizens. The phased implementation begins this Tuesday, initially capturing every second non-EU traveler, with plans to soon include all entrants. While the majority of member states appear well-prepared for this significant technological shift, there are still three notable exceptions facing readiness challenges.
