Germany’s digital central register for organ donation, introduced two years ago as a modern alternative to the traditional organ donor card, has now recorded over 500,000 declarations. More than half a million individuals have used the platform to digitally register their ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to organ donation, revealing a distinct trend in public engagement regarding this crucial decision.
