The Swedish company Northvolt had ambitious plans to construct a large battery cell factory in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, with significant state funding. Following Northvolt’s bankruptcy, the startup Lyten has stepped in to acquire the remnants of the project for a fraction of the initial investment.
