According to the organizers, the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS will be conducted online for the second consecutive year. This year, the event is scheduled to take place from July 22 to 27.
The MAKS air show was also held in an online format in 2024.
Rostec State Corporation and its subsidiary «Aviasalon,» the organizer of the International Aviation and Space Salons MAKS, have announced they will host the second online exhibition, eMAKS. The project is planned to run from July 22 to 27, 2025, accessible on the salon`s official website platform, the organizers stated.
The primary goal of the online exhibition is to demonstrate the advancements of domestic manufacturers within the aerospace industry. The featured areas at eMAKS include aircraft manufacturing, helicopter construction, spacecraft and related technologies, among others.
Traditionally, the International Aviation and Space Salon serves as a significant exhibition showcasing aviation and space technology, alongside achievements in scientific and technical fields connected to aircraft construction. In previous years, MAKS was regularly held every two years in the town of Zhukovsky, located near Moscow.
