Representatives from the state corporation Rosatom have joined the updated board of directors of Medscan, a leading operator of medical centers. This significant development was announced by the company itself.

The newly composed board now includes Medscan`s founder, Evgeny Tugolukov, and independent director Vladimir Geraskin. They are joined by several key executives from Rosatom: Ekaterina Lyakhova (Business Development Director for one of Rosatom`s divisions), Vadim Titov (CEO of Rusatom — International Network), Evgeny Abakumov (Director for Information and Digital Technologies), Irina Danilova (Treasury Director), and Oksana Karmishina (Director of the HR Policy Department).

In addition to Rosatom representatives, members of Medscan`s own management have also been appointed to the board. Timur Mubarakshin will continue to serve in his role as the company`s General Director.

Rosatom first acquired a stake in Medscan in 2022. Currently, 50% of JSC Medscan`s shares are held by Evgeny Tugolukov, with the remaining 50% belonging to a Rosatom subsidiary, JSC Rosatom Health Technologies. Medscan operates extensively across 31 regions in Russia, overseeing a network that includes 65 medical centers, 15 laboratories, and 452 laboratory offices, notably featuring facilities under the well-recognized KDL brand.

Financially, the group demonstrated robust performance for 2024. Its total revenue increased by 25% year-over-year, reaching 28 billion rubles. Furthermore, the net loss for the period saw a reduction of 7% year-over-year, settling at 1.2 billion rubles. Looking ahead, Medscan is contemplating a potential initial public offering (IPO) in 2026.
