Last week, Russia saw the introduction of domestically produced medical equipment based on atomic hydrogen technology. These devices are intended for therapeutic applications, as announced by the Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

`Just last week, Russian equipment for utilizing atomic hydrogen technology appeared for the first time. This project was jointly implemented with Roscosmos and the Institute of Preventive Medicine. The equipment is currently registered and being manufactured for inhalation and, consequently, therapeutic uses,` the Minister stated at a SPIEF session focused on the development of medical technologies.

According to Murashko, atomic hydrogen technology has experienced significant advancement in recent years, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of equipment is employed in the treatment of lung conditions, bolstering immune and cognitive functions, and mitigating inflammatory processes.
