WASHINGTON – Sean Duffy, the acting administrator of the American space agency NASA, expressed optimism about identifying areas of mutual interest with Russia regarding space endeavors. His comments were made ahead of scheduled negotiations with Dmitry Bakanov, the Director General of Roscosmos, as reported by Reuters, quoting Duffy directly.

In related news, the press service of Roscosmos had previously announced Bakanov`s arrival in the United States. His itinerary includes discussions with Duffy on July 31st and a meeting with the Crew Dragon spacecraft`s crew, among whom is Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov.

Furthermore, the Russian delegation plans to visit a Boeing production facility. This site is where the reusable CST-100 Starliner crew transport spacecraft is being developed. They are also scheduled to hold talks with the leadership responsible for Boeing`s space program.
