ВАШИНГТОН – НАСА рассматривает возможность международного сотрудничества в рамках своей миссии на Марс, но окончательные детали и формы такого партнерства еще не определены. Об этом сообщил Стивен Сиселоф, представитель НАСА по связям с общественностью Космического центра имени Джона Ф. Кеннеди, накануне запланированных переговоров между исполняющим обязанности главы НАСА Шоном Даффи и руководителем «Роскосмоса» Дмитрием Бакановым.
Сиселоф подчеркнул, что международное сотрудничество является желаемой целью для НАСА, однако «как конкретно это будет выглядеть, в какой форме – нам еще предстоит определить». По сообщениям пресс-службы «Роскосмоса», Дмитрий Баканов прибыл в США для встречи с Шоном Даффи 31 июля.
NASA Open to International Participation in Mars Mission
WASHINGTON – NASA is actively considering international collaboration for its Mars mission, though the specific details and operational framework for such partnerships remain to be finalized. This statement came from Stephen Siceloff, a public affairs representative at NASA`s John F. Kennedy Space Center, just prior to anticipated discussions between Acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy and Roscosmos head Dmitry Bakanov.
Siceloff highlighted that international cooperation is a key objective for NASA, stating, «Regarding international cooperation, that question is still to be resolved. At the moment, this is a goal for NASA that we are striving for. But how exactly it will look, in what form – we still have to determine.» Concurrently, Roscosmos` press service confirmed that Dmitry Bakanov arrived in the United States to meet with Sean Duffy on July 31.
