WASHINGTON, July 31. The International Space Station (ISS) stands as a prime example of successful international collaboration, and its acquired experience can serve as a foundation for future space endeavors, stated Stephen Siceloff, NASA Public Affairs Officer at the John F. Kennedy Space Center. His comments come ahead of crucial talks between Dmitry Bakanov, head of Roscosmos, and Shawn Duffy, acting administrator of NASA.
Siceloff reiterated, «The ISS is an illustration of international cooperation. It can be utilized for new projects.»
Earlier, Roscosmos`s press service announced that Dmitry Bakanov had arrived in the United States. He is scheduled to hold discussions with acting NASA chief Shawn Duffy on July 31, and also plans to meet the Crew Dragon spacecraft crew, which includes Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov.
