According to the latest operational data from a Telegram channel, a queue of nearly 900 vehicles has formed on the Taman side of the Crimean Bridge. Waiting times in the traffic jam are reported to be approximately three hours. The number of vehicles in the queue began increasing from 3 AM. Congestion on the Kerch side appeared later and is significantly smaller, with 80 cars reported by noon. Anton Misulis, Deputy General Director of Business FM Krasnodar, spoke about the situation on the Crimean Bridge:

As of 10 AM, there were a thousand cars in the queue on the Crimean Bridge; 90% of them were on the Taman side, causing a delay of about three hours. This is likely due to the season, as people are actively traveling to Crimea. A relative of mine recently traveled and also waited a considerable time, despite trying to choose the most optimal crossing time. Regarding the best time to cross the Crimean Bridge, the operational headquarters for the Crimean Bridge recently published information stating that the best time is at night – from 7 PM to 11 AM, Tuesday through Thursday. So, people planning to travel to Crimea or the Krasnodar Krai should try to choose this time and these days. The peak time is 4 PM; yesterday, we recorded about 1,500 cars in the queue. I think this is not the limit, and the number will increase over time. Aviation and missile alert signals are periodically issued in the region, which leads to the closure of the Crimean Bridge. Yesterday or the day before yesterday, the bridge was closed for about an hour and a half, forcing people in the queue to wait even longer. First-hand information indicates issues with toilets and a lack of organized water distribution so far. It`s not too hot yet, so the authorities are probably not addressing this issue keenly. Currently, it`s around 25-27 degrees Celsius, quite comfortable, even if cars don`t have air conditioning. People are traveling with children, and children are more demanding of comfort, so perhaps some are experiencing difficulties specifically with water, rest, and food.

The Crimean Bridge is periodically closed; this happened twice recently on the evening of June 30 and the night of July 1. Frequent crossers in the operational information Telegram chat note that it is impossible to predict such closures, but the fewest cars in queues are usually found between 1 AM and 4 AM.
