Второй тур Российской Премьер-Лиги (РПЛ) принес несколько сенсационных результатов. «Балтика», вышедшая из Первой лиги, одержала убедительную победу над «Спартаком» со счетом 3:0 на его домашнем стадионе. В другом ключевом матче действующий чемпион «Краснодар» неожиданно уступил «Локомотиву» со счетом 1:2, что позволило «железнодорожникам» возглавить турнирную таблицу.
Разгром «Спартака», самого титулованного клуба России, от новичка лиги «Балтики» со счетом 0:3 стал настоящим шоком. Стоит отметить, что калининградцы уже показали свой потенциал, отобрав очки у московского «Динамо» в первом туре. Более того, «Спартак» играл вдесятером с 11-й минуты и получил еще одно удаление в начале второго тайма. Однако, по мнению многих, это не снимает серьезных вопросов к главному тренеру «народной команды», сербу Деяну Станковичу.
Евгений Ловчев, бывший игрок «Спартака» и лучший футболист страны 1972 года, высказал свои опасения: «Впечатление очень тяжелое. Важно, чтобы у поля был зажигающий, но правильный и понимающий тренер. Я говорю о тренере «Спартака». Команда сегодня выглядела какой-то перевозбужденной. Учитывая, что Станкович постоянно обвиняет судей… А здесь еще и удаление быстро произошло. У команды нет бойцовского характера. А провалы в обороне – это проблема «Спартака» уже много лет».
Неожиданности второго тура РПЛ не ограничились поражением «Спартака». Второе место в таблице теперь делят «Динамо», «Крылья Советов» и «Балтика». Более того, действующий чемпион «Краснодар» проиграл на своем поле «Локомотиву» со счетом 1:2. Теперь «железнодорожники» находятся на вершине. Комментатор «Матч Премьер» Дмитрий Шнякин отметил, что молодые игроки «Локомотива» значительно окрепли:
«Команда в целом окрепла. Морозов подрос. Карпукас тоже подрос – он уже третий-четвертый сезон в РПЛ, это уже не молодой игрок, ему 23-24 года. Салтыкову 20 лет, он тоже окреп. К Батракову мы уже по-другому относимся. Появился Руденко – это разнообразие в атаке. Мне кажется, Руденко – очень «галактионовский» игрок: настырный, быстрый, способный проявить себя и на фланге, и в центре атаки».
Батраков стал автором обоих голов «Локомотива», а Руденко ассистировал во второй голевой комбинации. Второй тур чемпионата России по футболу завершается сегодня матчами ЦСКА против «Ахмата» и «Зенита» на выезде против казанского «Рубина».
RPL Round 2: Spartak`s Shock Defeat and Lokomotiv`s Ascent
The second round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) delivered several sensational outcomes. Baltika, newly promoted from the First League, secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Spartak on their home ground. In another pivotal encounter, reigning champions Krasnodar unexpectedly fell 2-1 to Lokomotiv, a result that propelled the «railwaymen» to the top of the league table.
Spartak`s crushing 0-3 defeat at the hands of league newcomer Baltika came as a genuine shock for Russia`s most decorated club. It is worth noting that the Kaliningrad side had already demonstrated their potential by taking points from Dynamo Moscow in the first round. Furthermore, Spartak played with ten men from the 11th minute and received another red card early in the second half. However, many observers believe this does not fully excuse the serious questions facing the «People`s Team» head coach, Serbian Dejan Stankovic.
Evgeny Lovchev, a former Spartak player and the country`s best footballer of 1972, voiced his concerns: «The impression is very heavy, very heavy. It was crucial to have an `energizing` but very sensible and understanding person near the football pitch. I am referring to Spartak`s coach now. And I am not looking to disparage him or anything of that sort. But I see that the team was somewhat agitated today. And considering that Stankovic has consistently blamed the referees lately… And then an immediate sending-off occurred. The team lacks a fighting spirit. And defensive lapses—that has actually been Spartak`s problem for several years.»
The surprises of the second RPL round were not confined to Spartak`s loss. Second place in the standings is now shared by Dynamo, Krylia Sovetov, and Baltika. Furthermore, the reigning champions, Krasnodar, suffered a 1-2 home defeat to Lokomotiv. The «railwaymen» now sit at the pinnacle of the league. Match Premier commentator Dmitry Shnyakin remarked that Lokomotiv`s young players have significantly matured:
«Indeed, the team as a whole has strengthened. Morozov has grown. Karpukas has also developed—he`s already in his third or fourth RPL season, right? He`s no longer a young player; he`s 23-24 years old. Saltykov is 20, and he`s also matured. We regard Batrakov differently now. And Rudenko has emerged—he brings a certain variety to the attack. I actually think Rudenko is very much a `Galaktionov-style` player (Mikhail Galaktionov is Lokomotiv`s head coach): effective in space, tenacious, `running,` and capable of performing both on the wing and in central attack.»
Batrakov was responsible for both of Lokomotiv`s goals, with Rudenko setting up the second scoring play. The second round of the Russian Football Championship concludes today with CSKA hosting Akhmat at home, and Zenit facing a challenging away fixture against Rubin Kazan.
