The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, candidly shared that members of the media often inquire more about his wedding ring than about his official professional duties.
Journalist Alexander Yunashev, from the Life.ru news portal, took note of Bakanov`s `smart` ring and questioned why he chose to wear it on his ring finger—a digit traditionally reserved for a wedding band.
«I can move it to any other finger so as not to cause confusion. As it stands, I receive more questions about this ring than about my professional work,» Bakanov stated in a video shared on Yunashev Live`s Telegram channel.
A `smart` ring is an advanced electronic wearable device designed to be worn on a finger, which functions in sync with a smartphone to offer various features and functionalities.
