A statement on the state corporation`s Telegram channel noted that the North Atlantic cyclone «Cornelius» has impacted the capital, bringing with it colder temperatures and heavy rainfall. The message advised residents to dress more warmly and anticipate improved weather conditions.

It was also mentioned that the image was captured using the «Electro-L» and «Arktika-M» series satellites.

Earlier, Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist from the Phobos weather center, had indicated that due to the influence of the North Atlantic cyclone «Cornelius», Moscow is expected to receive approximately half of its monthly precipitation norm over the coming week.
