On Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 12:32 PM Moscow time, the light-class Angara-1.2 launch vehicle
was successfully launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that
the combat crew of its Space Forces conducted the launch.
The mission`s primary objective was to deploy several satellites into orbit, designated for the
Ministry of Defense`s operational requirements. The Plesetsk Cosmodrome, a state testing facility
for the Ministry of Defense, is situated in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia.
