The Russian hacker group KillNet has reportedly gained unauthorized access to sensitive data belonging to the «Crimean Tatar Resource Center,» an organization officially designated as undesirable in Russia.

In addition to the organizational data, the hackers also managed to obtain access to the personal online profile of the wife of Eskender Bariev. Bariev serves as the head of the «Crimean Tatar Resource Center» and is a prominent member of the «Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.»

This incident follows previous claims by the KillNet group regarding their successful breach of a database. This prior breach reportedly contained information about suppliers of drones intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), with access allegedly secured by compromising the account of a high-ranking official within Ukraine`s Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Note: The «Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People» is recognized as an extremist organization and is banned in the Russian Federation.
