Российская спутникостроительная компания «Решетнев» (часть госкорпорации «Роскосмос») и телекоммуникационный оператор «Билайн» заключили соглашение о сотрудничестве, о чем сообщила пресс-служба оператора.
Основная цель этого партнерства — изучить возможности интеграции спутниковых систем связи с существующими мобильными сетями. Кроме того, компании планируют разработать методы для объединения наземных узлов связи, используя инфраструктуру «Билайна».
В рамках данного сотрудничества будет создана экспериментальная зона. Здесь специалисты будут исследовать потенциал использования спутников и других неназемных платформ для развития сотовой связи и передачи данных, применяя передовые технологии 4G-A и 5G-NTN. Также будет вестись разработка и тестирование сценариев для совершенно новых услуг.
Стороны также намерены объединить все географически распределенные наземные узлы спутниковых систем «Роскосмоса» в единую сеть на базе «Билайна» для более эффективного обмена данными.
Это партнерство также призвано снизить затраты на организацию и масштабирование магистральных каналов связи, а также способствовать значительному расширению телекоммуникационной инфраструктуры по всей России. Это особенно актуально для отдаленных или труднодоступных регионов, где прокладка наземных сетей затруднена или вовсе невозможна. Данная инициатива также укрепит технологический суверенитет Российской Федерации в области неназемных коммуникаций.

Он особо выделил ценность опыта специалистов «Билайна» в применении современных технологий подвижной мобильной связи, их глубокие знания протоколов и стремление к инновациям через использование спутниковых сетей.
Нестеров добавил, что в будущем это сотрудничество позволит напрямую интегрировать современные стандарты мобильной связи в спутниковые системы, обеспечивая высококачественные услуги абонентам как на территории России, так и за ее пределами.
Beeline and Roscosmos Collaboration for Satellite Communication Development
The Russian satellite manufacturing company Reshetnev (a subsidiary of Roscosmos State Corporation) and telecom operator Beeline have officially signed a cooperation agreement, as announced by Beeline`s press service.
The core objective of this partnership is to thoroughly investigate the potential for integrating advanced satellite communication systems with existing mobile networks. Additionally, the companies plan to develop effective methodologies for combining terrestrial communication nodes, leveraging Beeline`s extensive infrastructure.
As part of this strategic initiative, an experimental zone will be established. Within this zone, experts will delve into the capabilities of employing satellites and other non-terrestrial platforms to enhance cellular communication and data transmission, specifically utilizing cutting-edge 4G-A and 5G-NTN technologies. The collaboration will also involve the meticulous development and rigorous testing of new service scenarios.
Furthermore, the parties intend to consolidate all geographically dispersed ground nodes of Roscosmos` satellite systems into a unified network, powered by Beeline`s infrastructure, to facilitate more streamlined and efficient data exchange.
This joint venture is also designed to significantly reduce the costs associated with establishing and scaling critical backbone communication channels. It is expected to contribute substantially to the expansion of telecommunication infrastructure across Russia, particularly in remote or challenging regions where laying terrestrial networks is impractical or impossible. This initiative will also play a vital role in reinforcing Russia`s technological sovereignty in the domain of non-terrestrial communications.
