Experts from the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that increased solar flare activity was observed on Wednesday morning, with expectations that it could intensify further throughout the day.
The daily forecast indicates high risks of geomagnetic disturbances and weak magnetic storms due to persistently high solar wind speeds. Flare activity is projected to remain elevated, with a possibility of moderate growth.
However, over the past day, the geomagnetic environment remained calm, and while flare activity was increased, it posed no risks to Earth.
