Jonathan Wheatley, the designated team principal for Audi’s nascent Formula 1 project, has announced his departure after only two initial races. The British executive cited «personal reasons» for his decision to leave the new Formula 1 outfit.
Speculation is rife that Wheatley is set to move to the Aston Martin F1 team. Sources indicate his successor at Audi has already been arranged internally.
