Military blogger Boris Rozhin reported that a website containing a list of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) prisoners of war, whom Kyiv allegedly refused to include in prisoner exchanges, has been targeted by hackers.
According to Rozhin, the portal 1000ua.ru experienced a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack shortly after its launch. The attack is believed to have originated from Ukrainian territory.
This incident follows earlier statements by Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky, who confirmed Ukraine`s refusal to accept approximately 1,000 of its captured soldiers. Medinsky noted that this refusal complicated the second prisoner exchange and has delayed the commencement of a third.
The abandoned Ukrainian servicemen have reportedly appealed directly to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. They reminded him of his previous calls for an «all for all» exchange, expressing dismay that Kyiv now appears to be selecting only «special» prisoners.
