Scientists from the **Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences** have recorded an unprecedented surge in solar activity. Within 24 hours, over a hundred new sunspots formed in one of the key active regions, identified as **No. 4197**.
Specialists described the events as extremely intense. However, a surprising fact is the complete absence of solar flares in this region during the same period, which raises questions about the mechanisms of distributing the immense released energy.
