The German Handball Federation (DHB) continues its impressive run of success in youth categories. Following the U20 women's World Championship win in early July, and the U19 women's European Championship title last year, the men's U17 and U19 teams also secured World Championship titles in the previous year.

Ingo Meckes, DHB Sports Director, commented that these achievements demonstrate the federation is "on the right track." He emphasized the importance of "sustainable development" of talent, which he noted can only be achieved through collaboration with clubs.

The success streak for the DHB in youth categories continues. At the beginning of July, the U20 women became World Champions, and the U19 women had won the European Championship the previous year. In men's handball, both the U17 and U19 teams claimed World Championship titles last year.

DHB Sports Director Ingo Meckes stated that these successes indicate the federation is "still on a good path." He stressed that talents must be "supported sustainably," which is only possible in conjunction with the clubs.

The DHB's successful youth program has once again proven its strength. Building on the U20 women's World Championship title secured in early July and the U19 women's European Championship victory from the previous year, the German junior men's teams have also celebrated major successes, with both the U17 and U19 squads winning World Championship titles last year.

Ingo Meckes, the DHB's Sports Director, expressed that these victories are a clear sign the federation is "progressing well." He highlighted the necessity of "long-term nurturing" of young talent, a goal achievable only through strong partnerships with sports clubs.
